Let them have a voice — We had an open-door policy along with an open voice policy. No concern, comment, or idea was bad, and we wanted to hear what everyone had to say. Does that mean we implemented every idea? Of course not, but when we didn’t, we were able to show them why. Either it wasn’t the time or wasn’t going to work. They knew they were taken seriously.
